Letter from the Founder

When I created the 5 Star Community Excellence Award, my vision was simple: to recognize businesses and professionals for their true commitment to excellence—not for how much they spend on advertising or how well-known they are in the media. Too often, awards are handed out as popularity contests or tied to magazine features, rather than reflecting the real quality of service that customers experience every day.

I wanted something different. I wanted the ability to recognize businesses and professionals who usually go unnoticed—the ones who quietly give back, sponsor youth sports, support local schools, and make a real difference in their communities. These efforts deserve to be celebrated just as much as any five-star review.

By using objective findings—through customer feedback, measurable performance, community engagement, and now enhanced by advanced AI analysis—we’ve built a fair and transparent process that rewards businesses based on merit, not marketing.

This award is a celebration of integrity, dedication, and impact. It exists to honor those who consistently earn the trust of their clients and contribute to the strength of their communities.
